Prosthetic Training
Helping Amputees Regain Balance, Strength & Mobility
Adjusting to life with a prosthesis can feel overwhelming—but you don’t have to navigate it alone. At Diversified Physical Therapy Specialists, our Prosthetic Training program is designed to help new amputees gain confidence, comfort, and independence through personalized, one-on-one care. Our experienced therapists guide you through every stage of the recovery process, teaching essential skills such as how to properly put on and remove your prosthetic, manage sock ply and fit changes, maintain healthy skin, and control limb volume throughout the day.
As you progress, we’ll focus on improving your balance, strength, endurance, and mobility, all while helping you safely return to walking and daily activities. Each session is customized to your goals and comfort level, ensuring you feel supported and empowered through every step of rehabilitation. With education, training, and encouragement, our team is here to help you move forward confidently and rediscover your independence.
